Beginning his career in personal training in Nov 2001, Marcus Tolley has developed a unique outlook and methodology towards tailored training. With a wealth of experience and knowledge backed up by a certificate IV in personal training Marcus has adapted his techniques to a wide variety of clients with unique training needs.

This background has established a first hand understanding of specific populations. Whether it’s rehabilitation from injury no matter what severity, to training towards a specific competitive event, or advice on sports nutrition. Marcus has created programs to cater for pre-wedding fitness blitz’ along with personalised pre and post-natal training solutions.

His energetic and professional style is balanced with a good sense of humour. Looking towards teaching an increased understanding of closed kinetic chain techniques and requirements, to gain a greater understanding of each movement, rather than simply barking aggressive instructions. This approach has proven to be beneficial in creating a more informed training session and builds confidence between both trainer and client.

With a broad client base ranging from all walks of life, Marcus has had the privilege of working closely with; company CEO’s and Managing Directors’, actors, competitive athlete’s, weekend warriors, full time students, to those looking for a lifestyle change and to drop a few kilograms. If it’s a competitively priced training session you are looking for, Marcus also provides group training, off peak discounts and couple’s sessions.

With a variety of skills that differ from traditional gym weights training, Marcus’ sessions incorporate gymnastic activities with resistance and cardiovascular training to give clients the best all-round core control and fitness. Flexibility and balance skills are tutored and encouraged, utilising knowledge gleamed from over a decade of martial arts training and competing.

On a personal note Marcus has a keen interest in Boxing, Kickboxing, Judo, Jiu Jitsu and Yoga and currently partakes in triathlons and half-marathons.
